Status
Per the Kinder Morgan Products page: a 110-mile, 16-inch line carrying gasoline, ULSD and batched denatured ethanol, and an 85-mile, 10-inch line carrying jet fuel, from five Port Tampa Bay terminals to Orlando. The 10-inch line is the sole pipeline supply of jet fuel to Orlando International Airport. FERC Opinion No. 567 (2019) says the line also batches diesel. An older KM 10-K describes an intermediate delivery at Intercession City. The line has been shut briefly for hurricanes (Ian 2022, Milton 2024).
Ownership
Central Florida Pipeline LLC and Kinder Morgan Liquids Terminals LLC (KMLT, owner of the Tampa origin terminal) are both wholly owned by Kinder Morgan, Inc. (FERC Opinion No. 567, 2019).
Intrastate
FERC Opinion No. 567 (2019-11-21) upheld the ALJ ruling that jet fuel moved on CFPL from Hooker's Point, Tampa to Orlando is intrastate and outside FERC jurisdiction under the ICA. As a result there is no FERC tariff, and none appears among Kinder Morgan's posted tariffs. No Florida PSC petroleum-pipeline tariff was found; Florida does not appear to regulate refined-products pipeline rates.
