Explosion in the main crude heater forced a total refinery shutdown (Par Pacific called it an 'operational upset'). No injuries. About 20,000 b/d went offline and the crude heater had to be replaced. Par's March 24 letter to Wyoming DEQ: the refinery 'experienced an explosion in their crude heater … which resulted in a total shutdown of the refinery.' source
