- Marathon Pipe Line LLC is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of MPLX LP (MPLX FY2025 10-K), which is controlled by Marathon Petroleum Corp. Ohio River Pipe Line LLC (ORPL) is another MPLX carrier, rolled in here per the naming rule 'MPLX into Marathon'. MPLX also holds 25% of Explorer (separate system). MPLX FY2025 10-K: refined product systems of 3,787 miles, including 197 miles inactive. Much of MPC's product movement is proprietary or on TSA contracts (e.g., 'Garyville Products System' TSA), so not every MPLX pipeline has a published destination.
