From refinery research; each row links its source.
DirectionModeRoutePoint / originProductsSource
crude in pipeline McKee Crude Gathering System
~200+ miles of pipeline plus 20 truck-unloading sites with ~240,000 bbl storage; throughput capacity ~72,000 bpd, supplying roughly 40% of McKee's total crude runs from locally gathered Panhandle production.
Sunray, TX / Texas Panhandle crude source
crude in pipeline NuStar Wichita Falls, Dixon, and Hooker pipelines
NuStar Logistics, L.P.-owned pipelines that deliver crude oil into the McKee terminal in addition to Valero's own McKee crude system.
Wichita Falls, TX area crude source
crude in pipeline Midland to McKee crude pipeline
Valero's 2011 crude-unit expansion was explicitly designed to run additional West Texas Intermediate crude sourced from Midland, TX to feed the enlarged 195,000 bpd capacity.
Midland, TX (Permian Basin) crude source
crude in pipeline Cushing to McKee crude pipeline
Third-party pipelines connect McKee to the major Cushing, OK crude trading hub in addition to Midland, TX.

Events

Outages, fires, turnarounds, sales and closures — newest first.
  1. 2022-05-02 turnaround

Valero delayed a major overhaul of fuel-producing units originally scheduled for May 2022, resetting it to spring 2023 so the refinery could keep producing high-margin gasoline and diesel amid strong demand. source

Rates are pipeline line-haul transcribed from published FERC tariffs; every figure cites its tariff and item. Cost to serve (netback) adds origin spot price and destination fees. "Confirmed" links match a tariff delivery point to the facility; "same city" means the point is in the facility's city — plausible, not proof; "per research" means the facility's research profile names the pipeline as an outlet.
