Its 10-K for fiscal 2006 lists National Cooperative Refining Association, McPherson, KS, the refinery's former name, among the refineries directly connected to its system. McPherson, KS is an origin in Magellan's current Central origins tariff, F.E.R.C. No. 160.59.0, Item No. 255. The tariff names the town, not the refinery. No. 33 tariff runs from McPherson, Kansas to Lincoln, NE and Council Bluffs, IA and says the McPherson origin is a direct receipt into Heartland. The tariff names no facility. The document that names the refinery is the Kinder Morgan 10-K for 2005, which says Heartland was supplied primarily from the National Cooperative Refinery Association refinery in McPherson, the plant's former name. Planned major maintenance shutdown at McPherson in CHS fiscal Q3 2025 (Mar-May 2025). It drove FY2025 major maintenance of $271.4M, lower throughput and an $88.5M IBIT hit; much less turnaround activity is expected in FY2026 ($53.3M). source
