    ExxonMobil broke ground on the Baytown Refinery Reconfiguration Project, adding ~8,000 bpd (~400,000 mtpa) of Group III base oil capacity by upgrading three existing units to up-cycle lower-value streams. source

    Fire in a polypropylene-material tower forced shutdown of the 2.6-billion-lb/yr BOP ethylene unit at the Baytown chemical complex; the adjacent 557,000 bpd Baytown Refinery itself kept operating. source
