A propane leak at the Pine Bend refinery in Rosemount (about 3:30 p.m., March 19) forced nearby homes to evacuate and closed Hwy 52 between County Roads 46 and 42 until about 10 a.m. March 20. Bring Me The News called it a 'propane pipeline leak'. No production impact was reported. source

Announced: Flint Hills and Delta Air Lines are developing a facility at Pine Bend to blend up to 30 million gallons of neat SAF (Shell to supply the neat SAF), with completion targeted for Q4 2025. 'The blended fuel will be delivered via Flint Hills' existing pipeline to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).' This is evidence of a dedicated refinery-to-MSP jet pipeline, which the graph does not model as an edge. source
